With the goal of helping our writers craft higher-quality documents faster, we've developed the AutoResearch tool to assist you with organizing the client's information.
VERY IMPORTANT: This tool draws from the parsed data from the resume the client sent for critique or with their questionnaire. Parsed data will sometimes have errors. Always check the client's documents to ensure that you have all the needed data.
Feature Overview
AutoResearch includes three main features.
Content Organization: AutoResearch will collate all the relevant information about each job in the work history, allowing you to access all the necessary details with ease. No more digging through multiple sources to gather client data – everything will be conveniently accessible in one place.
Keyword Suggestions: The feature will provide intelligent suggestions for keywords, helping you optimize your content and improve search engine visibility.
Recommended Phrases: AutoResearch may also suggest potential summary phrases and job duties, aiding you in creating comprehensive and well-rounded content. These suggestions can serve as valuable prompts, ensuring you cover all essential aspects and deliver high-quality results.
Important Note about Suggested Data
The information provided under "Suggested Data" is drawn from past client resumes and online skill lists. This is a beta version. It is important that you approach this information with a critical eye rather than simply assuming that the suggestion applies.
Section Walkthroughs
The main order page in Expert Hub has been reorganized to group similar content together. Where possible, we've also pulled parsed information and information from the questionnaire into these thematic sections.
Client Details
The first place you'll begin is the new and improved "Client Details" tab. This includes the client's contact information, their concerns with their current resume, and the link to their uploaded documents.
Work History
The work history section is broken up into sections that correspond to each of the jobs we originally parsed on the client's resume.
You'll start off in the newest job and you can click through to each earlier job. Each job can include the following sections:
Job Header including job title, company name, and dates of employment. Note that a position to present may sometimes be parsed as ending in the current year, so always double-check with the client.
Suggested Data, including soft and hard skills suggestions and job duty recommendations. These are suggestions you can rewrite when you craft the new resume, and you should only use them if they clearly apply to the client's background.
Proudest accomplishments for this job from the client's questionnaire.
Information from the client's resume for the job in question.
Summary
The Summary section is divided into two subsections, each with its own suggestions: the narrative summary (or just "Summary") and Skills & Keywords. This section is drawn from the primary job the client indicated as their goal.
In the Summary section, you'll find suggested phrases drawn from other resumes that might fit this client's goals. As with all suggested data, take care to ensure that a given phrase matches the client's background before utilizing it.
The Summary section will also include the summary from the client's resume if our system was able to parse it:
The Skills & Keywords section will offer hard and soft skills that match the client's goals.
Additionally, when the data is available, the Skills & Keywords section will provide keywords parsed directly from the client's resume.
The combination of client-provided and system-suggested information should streamline the process of highlighting those skills relevant to the client's goals that are actually found in the client's background.
